Helping hands
Philanthropy in the United States have created many exciting things. It can be viewed as a greedy thing but in reality most of it is to make something good better. We have seen good companies come and go due to lack of financial support. Not every organization has the funds to sustain themselves. There are some that don't even make it out of their first year that have great concepts behind them but don't have a strong financial backing. The saddest story is finding out of a company that was never made due to no financial support at all. Everyone needs a push, even Steve Jobs and his infinite wisdom on technology needed support to fuel his ideas. The point i'm making is that Philanthropy is good for those seeking to better society.
Schools are not exempt from this cruel reality of the world. We all need money for one thing or another if we plan on doing anything for the betterment of society and ultimately the world. Charter schools have benefited greatly from people coming in and funding them. The proper change needs to be made and money talks. With a better incentive for the school leaders they can think harder in improving their schools. Financial backing placed in the correct places and given to the right people can bring about a big change.
